Pre Ring Track Day

Right I though as we are intendign on doign one of the "most challenging" tracks in the world it would be worth at least getting one track day in before hand.

there are a choice of tracks and setups, wether we want

.open pit - can go on at any point
.session - split into novice,intermidaite and expert with 20 min rotatign sessions.

trackdays are ranging from 100-200 ish pounds depending on the day you go and the track you use.

any interest?

I would do, but depends where and i think you can get em cheaper than that cant u?

well one of the closer tracks is rockingham at 70 miles away but i havent found a car day there under 200 yet.

i would like to do probably donnington?

donnington day is £210

Its says 230 on the site, and you need an MSA licence, and that for "quiet" cars under the sound regs....

you dnt need license and there is a 105 db level but bikes go on at that so cars are all good!

curborough is a good one for beginners.

Track time at trax?

sounds good and think sum1 mentioned that before... but good call

You book 20 min time and set amount of peope on at one time

20 mins o n a track isnt really what i had in mind lol

this mite be a stupid comment but cant we talk to the organisors of trax and see if they will do a br 20min stint on track, like they say dont ask you dont get

I didnt expect to see you on this time of the day lol.

And they should be able to as I know thats how clubs do it such as troc and zsoc etc.

still thinka full day is needed!

I'm up for it. I'll at least have 4 decent tyres and all new belts so my car should cope lol

Ill be up for it too if we have a slot ye, ill sort 4 track tyres out.
