Club Meet Location Idea's

As above, does anyone have any ideas where to hold club meets.
Idealy it would be under cover but that option is looking unlikely.

One place I have thought of is on Forge Lane, by the WBA ground.
Its just off the motorway so easy to get too, and you have an excuse to drive down Forge Lane to get there lol

True, where abouts on forge lane were you thinking? There isnt a car park or anything which is open down there is there?

Its just off junction 1 of the M6, and up Park Lane/Forge Lane (it changes road name half way down, lol)

is maccies on the left near by and speed camera

I have never seen it shut off, and there is nothing other than a golf course nearby, and who's going to be playing golf in the dark, lol

Sorry to break bad news, but that location is shut off. and may i also add, when its NOT shut off, very often, there is a cop car sat inside it.

Also... Im not saying use it, as cops come down there too but, what club uses bescot? lol Thats news to me.

oh right ok, that ones a gonner then, lol.

and i dont think its a club on bescott, but there are always cars and that on there, like a big group of mates.

you got any ideas lurch?

I need to think of somewhere to host a site launching cruise too!! that might help spread the word and get some more interest and members in?!

na theres no club as we was the onli 1s that used it but beens in comming closer to xmas toys r us what we r using now will be open later which will caurse probs cus i was gonna say use that. or there is always savercentre oldbury thats under cover to

Chappers had the idea of the carparks by junction 9 pcworld, and next etc,
there is loads of spaces there, a KFC, burger king, and a pizza hut, right next to a motorway junction, sounds good to me.

There is also a carpark there thats down the of one of the warehouses which looks good too?

I think during the winter now, we find a pub and meet there, and when the weathers nice, go to an outside location like carpark etc??

Erm. that retail park has gates mate, KFC gets full of dicks. Burger king grass you up.

That road down the side of the wearhouses is where i had a photoshoot, its gated off.

Best bet for junction 9, would be morrisons. No gates, CarPark cant be seen from the road, Residents are the only problem. But aslong as noise is kept to a minimum, should be fine.


As for a pub... hmm... im guessing after a nice weatherspoons or summink yeh?? Where about you looking for, as i know a few pubs around this are which would let us use the carpark

im gonna have a look i think now, go and take a drive down there and see what its like.

and as for pub, im sure we can find somewhere half decent

KFC really isnt big enough, but it gets used by dicks, BurgerKing moan like frick, Pizza Hut DEFO isnt big enough. BnQ Has gates, The car valet garage place thingy, also has gates.

Depends on how far you wanted to travel but there is sh*t loads of locations in derby and notts. Even craig will support me on this.

ill probs never come to a club meet tbh due to the fact that im over 4 hours away from the midlands, ill attend car shows with the club tho. or if there is a club meet after a car show hat held down south then ill stay over the night so i can go to some meets.

Get people from by you to sign up on here, then get your own BR meets sorted n your area

ive got 1 mate to join so far, i think hes just sorting his WIP thread out now

Get a few signed up, start your meets up hartlepool, and people will attend, then you get THEM to sign up, and its expands, and expands

the lad called groves is one of the lads i told to join, i think another lad called ammo will, ill see some mates in college tomorrow and get them to join aswell

Area rep sonds funking fine to me dude Know me, i got my contacts, plus im well known in the cruise scene, and GAURANTEED to of been doing it the longest than anybody else you know of haha!!!
